Mr Paul Deacon

Paul joined the RMA at the age of 40 becoming the youngest member of a thriving Blackpool branch.  He has helped organise a number of annual fundraising events for Royal Marines charities, also training as a TRiM practitioner.  He was quickly elected as Vice Chairman and subsequently Chairman of the branch.  In 2014, he was elected as the Northern Region representative to the Board of Trustees and became Chairman of the Northern Region shortly afterwards.

In the last couple of years, Paul has been one of 3 trustee representatives for the RMA on the Merger Steering Group, which has succssfully guided the RMA and TRMC to merge into the new RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.
