A former Royal Marine, Jason Burns, who sustained life-changing injuries in Afghanistan that left him in a wheelchair, has finally been able to move into a forever home in South Shields thanks combined support.
This exclusive and unique event saw participants kayak 21 miles through the heart of the City of London, with and alongside serving and former Royal Marines.
Leaving on the 1st of May, the ranks from Med Squadron at Commando Logistic Regiment have made their way through the United Kingdom to raise funds for NHS Charities Together and RMA – The Royal Marines Charity.
